These terms apply to your use of AviationCalc at aviationcalc.xyz (“the site”). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Educational use only
The site provides calculators and written material for learning about aviation mathematics. AviationCalc provides educational calculations only. Results are not certified for operational flight planning or aircraft performance decisions. Always consult approved aircraft documentation and official aviation information before flight operations. The full statement is in the Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.
2. No professional advice
Nothing on the site is flight instruction, operational, engineering, legal or other professional advice. The site does not hold performance data for any aircraft and does not assess whether any flight, takeoff or landing is safe or permitted.
3. Accuracy and availability
We work to keep the calculators and guides accurate and describe our checks on the Calculation Methodology page. Even so, the site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend or remove any part of the site at any time.
4. Your responsibilities
- Check any result independently before relying on it for any purpose.
- Do not use the site for operational flight planning or in place of official sources.
- Do not try to disrupt the site, access it by automated means that place an unreasonable load on it, or use the contact form to send unlawful, abusive or unsolicited commercial messages.
5. Intellectual property
The text, diagrams, design and software of the site are owned by AviationCalc or used with permission. You may view and print pages for personal, classroom or other non-commercial educational use, and you may quote short passages with a clear link back to the source page. You may not republish substantial parts of the site, or present its content as your own, without written permission. The mathematical formulas themselves are general knowledge and are not claimed as ours.
6. Links and advertising
The site links to external websites as references. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content. The site may display advertising supplied by third parties; an advertisement is not a recommendation by AviationCalc of the product or service advertised.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AviationCalc and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss or damage, or for any injury, arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
